Two West Highland Facilities Enhanced

Two communities in Argyll in the West Highlands will be able to be more active thanks to some new ly upgraded facilities.    

A Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) in Dunbeg opened recently, giving football and basketball fans of all ages a chance to play their favourite sport. The MUGA forms an important part of the Dunbeg housing development plan.    

A playpark in The Glebe in Ki l melford has also been given a full makeover . The improvement works undertaken include d new surfac ing , an improved entryway and upgraded security.  

Brett Sadler, West Highland Housing Association Chief Executive, said: “Exercise, good physical and mental health, and wellbeing are so important . B oth the MUGA in Dunbeg and the playpark at The Glebe will give two rural communities e nhanced opportunities to enjoy recreation time in a safe environment.”
